This refresher training is aimed at professionals who have previously completed the IV/WV NEN 3140 course and want to maintain or renew their qualification. In short: the IV/WV NEN 3140 refresher course is intended for those responsible for working safely with electricity and/or managing electrical installations and equipment in accordance with the NEN 3140 standard.
What are the benefits?
Upon completing the training, you will be fully aware of the risks associated with working on or near electrical installations. You will also be able to take the necessary precautions to carry out such work safely. In addition, your employer may designate you as the nominated person in control of the work and/or the installation, in accordance with the NEN 3140 standard.

Prior training required
An (electro)technical background at MBO level, or equivalent practical experience, is required.

Theory and practice
Ingenium’s training courses are well known for their practical approach, but a solid theoretical foundation is essential for working safely on or near electrical installations.
To assess hazards and risks during basic electrical work—and to carry out simple electrical tasks safely—adequate knowledge of the relevant concepts is required.
