What are the benefits?
Upon completion of the online training Skilled Person NEN 3140 (VP NEN 3140), you will be fully aware of the risks involved in working on or near electrical installations. You will also be able to take the necessary precautions to perform such work safely. Additionally, your employer can nominate you as a Skilled Person (Vakbekwaam Persoon) in accordance with the NEN 3140 standard.

Prior training required

By following this online training, both the employer and the employee meet the Working Conditions Act’s sufficient instruction and demonstrable expertise.
There is no period of validity on the Skilled Person NEN 3140 certificate, this is not required by law. Article 8 of the Working Conditions Act states that the employer must provide sufficient information and training.
A refresher course is also not required by law, an employer may itself provide the frequency of information and instruction.
